Crew Recruitment

Crew ManagementPT. Tiara Anugerah Perkasa maintains a stringent recruitment procedure with multi layered interviews and assessments for competency/skill level and English ability. We have a team of dedicated recruitment specialist with many years of experience in all aspects of resource management.


All candidates are screened carefully to ensure our principals the most competent qualified seafarers available. The screening includes:
Screen previous employment records in order to identify suitable seafarers with satisfactory pas performance
Check the authentication and validity of all mandatory licenses, flag license and training certificates
Every crew must be qualified, speak good English, safety minded and ready to work together with other nationalities. We welcome our principals to have direct interview or via Skype/telephone interview.

Crew Placement

Verification shall be made on:

  • Crew’s experiences
  • Reference check with previous employer(s) and/or based on crew’s sea service record as mentioned in seaman book/discharge book.
  • Crew’s documents and STCW certificates
  • All documents and certificates checked as per STCW requirements and for its authenticity (checking through government online website; www.pelaut.dephub.go.id) and its validity (having minimum 1 year validity from the sign on date). The record of crew that has passed all the above stages will be uploaded in crew management software. This crew record shall be maintained and updated for any change/additional information for the purpose of the next recruitment stage that is selection.

Selection 

Each of the selected candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualification & Experience
  • Has a minimum of 2 years working experiences at the same rank and type of ship. For entry level positions, the minimum working experience is 2 years.
  • Has the ability to adapt with any ship’s condition and familiar working with other nationalities.
